This project involved the renovation of an operational commercial building while maintaining business continuity. The original facility consisted of a two-storey office connected to an industrial warehouse. However, growing operational demands required additional office space, improved amenities, and better internal circulation.
To meet these needs, the scope included:

Refurbishing Existing Amenities for Workplace Efficiency

In addition, a new internal partition wall was introduced at ground-floor level. This allowed for the creation of an additional pantry, improving storage capacity and supporting the day-to-day needs of a growing team. Mezzanine Extension: Creating Offices Within the Warehouse Volume
The core challenge of this fit-out was introducing new offices and a training room inside the warehouse without interrupting circulation or operational flow.
To achieve this, a mezzanine structure was engineered using SHS (Square Hollow Section) steel columns, chosen for their strength and slim profile. As a result, the warehouse retained a clear central access route from the main entrance through to the existing office interface.
The mezzanine structure included:

Once the structure was complete, internal framing and finishes followed. We lined the external wall framing with Gyprock to integrate visually with the existing office areas. Key upgrades included:
- A new internal staircase connecting warehouse and mezzanine
- Commercial carpet tiles across mezzanine floors and stair treads
- A suspended ceiling grid with acoustic tiles
- Dedicated HVAC servicing for the new level

Services, Safety, and Finishing Works
Throughout the extension and refurbishment, we upgraded the electrical power, data points, and lighting to meet modern commercial requirements. A full internal painting scope was also completed, covering walls, ceilings, steelwork, beams, and support columns. This ensured visual continuity between old and new elements.
Warehouse and car park line marking was introduced to improve safety and visitor flow. Clear pedestrian routes now lead from the roller door to the office help desk, reducing risk and improving navigation.
To complete the transformation, we installed new external building signage, including façade branding and side elevation signage- strengthening the company’s street presence and commercial identity.
